DIETER SCHWARZ STIFTUNG
For the competition for the Dieter schwarz Stiftung in Heilbronn we uplifted the heritage of the old building and former garage to a super-garage. The outer shell is a double walled polycarbonate facade, that can be both: hiding and revealing the innovational super-workshop inside through its big folding doors. Gross floor area: 3.202,45 m2

The Ghetto Bench is a simple construction, shaping an open circular shape. Instead of a linear built bench, Ghetto Bench brings together in cold times, gethering around a burning barrel in the very center. By using spray-painted wooden pieces, that were randomly assambled, the coloring of the bench follows little rules, buts lots of freedom.
Buoy's lightsource can be set into many different angles. With its sand weight, it will always be in balance. Buoy was nominated and awared with the German Design Prize and CORE 77

Modular and multifunctional lamp, developed for the Foundation Bauhaus Dessau.
Matchpoint, refering to the look of a tennis racket, acts like a second wall, that can be placed anywhere, where a wall is needed. Matchpoint was mainly created to offer a substitutional wall that can be hung with items, to store and organize. Besides that it perfectly restructures space and at the same time does not divide it or intervenes it due to its airy net-structure.
H10 H20 H30
In order to create a fluent and flexible tool for storing, ordering and organizing items, these astackable baskets were developed in a cooperation with the Foundation Bauhaus Dessau and basket weaver from the area of Dessau.
Stacking, as an intuitive action in our daily life, creates the main focus of the work. Stacking means to reorder elements from horizontal to a vertical—creating a sculptural object. This ordinary but effective technique led to the essence of the work: transforming furniture, with the gesture of opening up to reveal a space to meet and host.
For Cologne based artist Max Scholz we made the visual communication and website/portfolio.
